The Minnesota Educator Tuition Assistance Program (MN ETAP) is a state-funded grant designed to help reduce financial barriers for eligible candidates pursuing initial Minnesota teacher licensure.
Students enrolled in, or considering enrollment in, a Saint Mary’s University educator preparation program leading to initial Minnesota teacher licensure are encouraged to apply if they self-identify as a candidate of color or an American Indian candidate, as defined by the Minnesota Educator Tuition Act, and believe they meet the program’s eligibility requirements.
Award amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000. Funding is limited, and eligibility is determined according to Minnesota state grant requirements. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
