The Master of Social Work Program was awarded the Sauer Family Foundation Grant to provide eligible students a one-time $2,500 stipend to use towards their field practicum education expenses for Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 semesters. This stipend is to assist Minnesota BIPOC students who are in a practicum working with vulnerable children and families to align with the Sauer Family Foundation mission, which is to strengthen the well-being of children, so that they thrive in their communities and families. The MSW program has previously awarded three students this stipend for Fall 2023 and four students for Spring 2024. We are pleased to announce that five students are the Summer 2024 recipients of this stipend: Sado Ahmed, Abdulkhaaliq Farah, Ileigh Gorham, Briana Garcia-Saldana, and Passion Springfield. Congratulations to these students!
