The Minnesota State Grant program is crucial for higher education in Minnesota because nearly half of all undergraduate Minnesota residents attending college in our state receive the State Grant – including many students at Saint Mary’s. State Grants help students from low- and moderate-income families pay for educational expenses at eligible Minnesota colleges and universities. That’s why our legislators need to hear from our students about the importance of the State Grant program for themselves and their classmates.
