Matthew Huff is assuming the role of interim director of Campus Safety on our Winona Campus. Huff has more than a decade of experience and has worked many facets of security. He also has undergone and kept current on a variety of appropriate trainings. He has shown great leadership in the Rochester market and has helped lead and mentor more than 40 officers.
Huff’s arrival comes at the announcement that Tim Kauphusman will be leaving the American Security LLC organization, and his last day at Saint Mary’s is today, Thursday, Aug. 18. We wish him well and thank him for his two years of service to all students, faculty, and staff in Winona. Huff has been training alongside Kauphusman to ensure a smooth transition.
American Security has started sourcing for a new director and will work closely with Saint Mary’s in determining the right candidate for this position.
