All faculty and staff are encouraged to come together on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 12:15 p.m. to hear from our president, Father James P. Burns, IVD, Ph.D., for the State of the University address.
The presentation will be held in Aquinas Hall 200 on the Winona Campus and livestreamed at the University Center for those joining us from the Minneapolis Campus. Refreshments and fellowship to follow.
This year’s address comes at an important moment for Saint Mary’s. On Oct. 9, our Board of Trustees adopted The University of Human Flourishing: Saint Mary’s Strategic Plan Refresh 2030, establishing the framework that will guide our priorities and decisions through the remainder of this decade.
Father Burns will speak about what the plan means in practice for Saint Mary’s and for the students we serve, including our three principal university initiatives: Student Flourishing, Employee Flourishing, and the Blessed Santiago Miller School of Trade and Technology.
Father Burns will also provide an update on enrollment, retention, our financial position and the work underway to strengthen it, the pension transition, developments in academic affairs, philanthropy, and the future of our campuses.
Please join us in person for this event. A recording will be available following the event.
