The Faculty Development Committee in partnership with CELT is hosting a series of four book club meetings to discuss the book Creating Engaging Discussions: Strategies for “Avoiding Crickes in Any Size Classroom and Online edited by Jennifer H. Herman and Linda B. Nilson. This book contains an analysis of some of the common challenges in both in-person and online class discussions, followed by a series of 8 case studies that provide strategies for addressing these challenges.
All participants will receive their choice of a free print or electronic copy of the book.
