On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of Education, I am pleased to welcome Sue Baloun as our newest assistant professor. In addition to having significant experience teaching at the university level, Sue was a high school math teacher for many years, and her expertise in this area will undoubtedly help guide our I-STEP Noyce Grant.
A note from Sue:
Hello Saint Mary’s University Community! My name is Sue Baloun and I am pleased to be joining the SMU faculty as Assistant Professor in the School of Education. As a mathematics educator for many years, I bring a wealth of knowledge in varying aspects of math curriculum, instruction and educational programming. I have been actively employed as an educator at both the secondary and post-secondary levels of instruction. I also bring to the table industry experience as a statistician. I am excited to become part of the SMU School of Education and work with the faculty and staff to continue the great tradition of success in developing future educators. I am married with one daughter and live on a farm in Buffalo County, Wisconsin.
Please welcome us in joining Sue Baloun to the Saint Mary’s community.
