Strong SMUMN presence at Catholic Psychotherapy Association conference

The MS in Clinical Psychology program at Saint Mary’s University had a strong presence at the Catholic Psychotherapy Association conference that took place in Steubenville, OH this past weekend. The conference brought together mental health professionals from all over the country to consider the conference theme, The Promise of Virtue: The Path to Spiritual, Physical, Mental, and Social Health. Our very own Fr. James Burns gave a keynote address on Wholeness and Holiness from Pope Benedict XVI. Faculty member Dr. Tim White presented on multiculturalism. In addition to presenting on clergy mental health, Dr. Anthony Isacco was awarded the Pope St. John Paul II Academic & Research Excellence Award. We are grateful for all the Saint Mary’s community who came (Fr. James Burns, Director of Strategic Partnerships Kevin Ebben, students Gabriel Vangura and Trevor Mauk, adjunct faculty Dr. Daniel Paris and Maribel Laguna, and core faculty Dr. Anthony Isacco, Dr. Tim White, and Sr. Maria Amata Rossi), and are grateful for an enriching conference.
