In this week’s edition of Data Bytes, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is pleased to provide an overview of the 2026 spring enrollment data at the Undergraduate College from the 10th day data freeze on January 16th. Below are highlights of the positive trends in spring enrollment, retention and attrition:
- Enrollment:Full-time, degree-seeking enrollment is 801 students, an increase of 30 students (771) when compared to Spring 2025. (Spring 2023 – 783; Spring 2022 – 750)
- First-Time Student Retention:The first-time, first year student, first-semester to second-semester retention rate is 94.3%. This represents a 3.4% increase from last year’s rate of 90.9%. (2023 – 91.2%; 2022 – 88.8%)
- Overall Retention and Attrition:The overall College fall to spring retention rate improved to 96.3%, with an attrition rate of 3.7%. Last year’s overall retention rate was 95.2%, with an attrition rate of 4.8%. (2023 – 96.2% / 3.8%; 2022 – 94.5% / 5.5%)
