On Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. in Aquinas Hall (just outside room 200), our chaplain, Fr. Kevin Stolt, IVE, PhL, will lead a brief dedication and blessing of a new statue of Our Lady of Kibeho.
From 1981-1989, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Kibeho, Rwanda, just 5 years before the country suffered a terrible genocide. She delivered messages of conversion, encouraging the three visionaries to increase their devotion to the rosary. The children also received revelations about the Seven Sorrows Rosary, which the Blessed Mother is holding in the statue. Her stark words of warning were tempered by her compassionate care for all of God’s children, as she assured, “Don’t forget I love you.”
We give thanks to God for this new reminder of our Patroness’s constant intervention and intercession for our good.
