Yom Kipper, the Day of Atonement, ends the Jewish Days of Awe which started on Rosh Hashanah. This holiday is observed with a 25 hour fast and prayer service, which begins on the evening of September 24 and ends on the evening of September 25. During this time, Jews are encouraged to seek reconciliation and forgiveness from God and one another for sins committed over the past year.

Let us take a cue from our Jewish brethren by taking a moment to reflect on our lives, where we have fallen short, and seek to make amends with God and each other.
