The Saint Mary’s women’s cross country team was among the 212 NCAA Division III programs to earn U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. The Cardinals boasted a stellar 3.879 grade-point average — the third-highest among all NCAA Division III programs and the sixth-highest among all three NCAA women’s cross country programs.
