We are planning for the Winona Campus commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7, 2022.   Please see below for information that should assist you as you plan for that day.

We are very pleased to announce that we will have one commencement ceremony for all graduating seniors unlike last year when we held three commencement ceremonies by school. However, students are limited to four guests at commencement.  The commencement ceremony will be held as follows:

May 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gymnasium

All faculty will be expected to attend the commencement ceremony.  Faculty will be seated on the floor of the gymnasium in front of the students.  Requests to be absent from the ceremony due to COVID-19 concerns must be addressed with the Dean of the College.

Baccalaureate Mass will be held in Saint Thomas More Chapel on Saturday, May 7, at 8:30 a.m.   The Mass will be live streamed.

Students will be sent a Google form in the near future that they may complete to reserve four  tickets for the commencement ceremony.  Only those guests with tickets are permitted at the ceremony in the Gostomski Fieldhouse Gymnasium.  Other guests on campus on May 7 may watch the ceremony via livestream in the Page Theatre.  Since the ceremony will be livestreamed, those unable to attend in person may also view it.

We are assessing whether masking will be required at the ceremony.  An announcement about that will be made later.

We will be working with the senior class officers on a possible  dinner for the senior class and lunch with faculty and staff. More information on those possible events will be forthcoming.

As always, we are monitoring COVID-19.  We are praying that we will not see surges in COVID-19 before commencement that will require us to adjust these plans. We are looking forward to celebrating this day with our seniors and their family members.
