Parking on Campus
Faculty and staff are requested to park in the Watters Hall parking lot. Your willingness to use this lot is appreciated so we can provide the necessary space for our guests. A shuttle van will be running between Watters Hall and Saint Mary’s Hall.
A reception will follow the ceremony on the Plaza. In case of inclement weather, the reception will be held in Gostomski Fieldhouse.
Masking will not be required for commencement. The university does encourage everyone to consider wearing a mask to the commencement ceremony in light of rising COVID-19 cases in the State of Minnesota. Thankfully, positive COVID-19 cases at the College remain low. The university supports everyone who chooses to wear a mask even when it is not required. Everyone is expected to respect individual choices about masking, remembering, for example, that people may choose to mask because they are simply uncomfortable without a mask, they are immuno-compromised, or they have small children at home who cannot be vaccinated. All members of the Saint Mary’s community are expected to keep a mask with them at all times and follow masking requirements when notified or posted by a sign.
