Over the summer your Office of Instructional Technology has been hard at work. Please take a minute to check out what is new and happening at EdTech HQ.  Stop by our various locations (Winona, MInneapolis, and Online) to see how you can advance what is possible. Be sure to check out the images below for each space and opportunity!

Winona:

  • Aquinas Hall, 226 – Adjacent to the maker space, check out the recording space. Here you can record a microlecture using the HD cameras and green screen. Additionally you can recreate the whiteboard lecture using our new lightboard
  • Saint Mary’s Hall, 125 – The Technology Innovation Room is a great place to come in for a 1:1 in person meeting. It can also be a place to meet with a small group to discuss engagement strategies in Canvas

Minneapolis:

  • LaSalle Hall, 50 – As part of the CELT Lounge there is a growing number of possibilities. Record a microlecture with HD cameras, recreate a new presentation on the lightboard, or take part in a small group training.

Always Online:

  • Like many of our courses across the university the team of Instructional Technology continues to host training sessions held over Zoom at various times of the day to expand your continued onboarding into our learning systems. Check out the CELT website (click here) for these offerings and more.
  • No time for a live training session? No worries! Go to the reIMAGINE Learner Engagement course (click here) and explore any of the following and more?
    • Peer exemplars
    • Alternative discussion activities
    • Self-paced training modules
    • Recommended tools and strategies

Student learning is evolving, reIMAGINE what can be done!
