As we start the new academic year, please remember that mental health resources are available for students through our Wellness Center. For those faculty and staff who wish to become Mental Health First Aid certified, the SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) Grant is offering 30 spots for in-person, Winona campus training. The MHFA training will be on Thursday, September 19th and Friday, September 20th from 12:30-4:30 pm. If you are interested in participating, please email Sam Borawski, sborawsk@smumn.edu to reserve your spot. If you are interested but unable to attend the full time due to scheduled classes, please reach out as well and we can work with you and our instructor.
