This update is related to contracts for full-time College faculty, SGPP core professors, and exempt (salaried) employees, as all of these groups are subject to annual employment contracts.
College faculty contracts are generally issued on March 1 for the upcoming academic year. All other contracts are generally issued during the first week of April for the upcoming fiscal year.
All contracts (College faculty, SGPP core professors, and exempt employees) for 2022-2023 will be issued by Friday, April 8. College faculty received notice earlier this month that the Board of Trustees authorized a delay in issuing contracts up to May 31 if needed. This decision related to the Board’s direction to Father Burns and leadership to implement budget reduction plans and recommend strategies to achieve long-term financial sustainability for the College. While these strategies are being developed, implementation will require at least a full academic year. Accordingly, contracts for 2022-2023 will be issued by April 8, along with employment contracts for other employees.
Similar to last year, contracts will be issued digitally via email, utilizing the secure HelloSign application. Please watch for an email notification from HelloSign to view and sign your contract. Following your signature, the contract is routed to the appropriate executive for countersignature, after which you can download the completed contract for your records. Please note that any employees not receiving a contract renewal will be notified prior to April 8.
