Join the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching for two online events this April as you think about new engaging activities and as you take a moment to think about your own personal vocation to the intellectual life and teaching. Together, these sessions look at ways of engagement in the classroom and with the public as we reflect together.
All staff and faculty from all campuses are welcome.

SoTL Mini-Retreat: The Personal Intellectual Project (April 14, Noon – 1:00 PM)
Need to take a step back so you can rethink your scholarly agenda? Wish you had an appealing single-sentence statement that explains your work in the classroom and beyond? This session provides a space for participants to think through their own “Personal Intellectual Project”—the big-picture encapsulation of their different scholarly topics. Through a structured process and through interdisciplinary small-group conversation, participants will clarify their visions of their scholarship for both academic and non-academic audiences.
