The Nest will go live at noon today!
To access the new portal, please go to TheNest.smumn.edu. Student.smumn.edu and faculty.smumn.edu will also be redirected so your old links will continue to work. Use the same credentials you use to log in to your email account.
On the homepage, you will see a short video that highlights the main parts of the new portal. We encourage you to take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with The Nest.
Please remember this site is a work in progress and will be changing frequently over the next few months. New features and links will be added as they get completed.
Students
- On the new portal you can view your bill, pay your bill, and see your classes.
- Starting Wednesday July 26th, SGPP and college students that self register will be able to add or change their Fall 2023 course selection.
- We are working to adjust all the academic and financial changes that happened during our Go Dark period so your bill and/or schedule may not be accurate yet.
- SGPP Financial Aid awards will not be available in the system until early August.
- College Financial Aid awards will be ready for awarding by the end of this week.
Faculty and Staff (Employees)
- On the new portal you can connect to payroll.
- Faculty can view teaching schedules.
- Link to Advising (more info to come on this).
- Reports will be ready in the coming weeks.
