Many of our students are not able to go home for Thanksgiving break and our campus food service will not be open. The Cardinal Co-op food pantry is one way that we make sure our students have access to food while the dining hall is closed.

If you would like to donate unopened non-perishable items you can do so in the Office of Residence Life (Griffin Hall #199). The food pantry is open to all students during all five breaks throughout the academic year and we are always grateful for donations.

Items that we always need are (but not limited to):

  • Microwavable dinners (frozen dinners, mac & cheese cups, Ramen noodles)
  • Granola bars/breakfast bars
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Applesauce (individually packaged)
  • Peanut butter
  • Tuna packets
  • Rice
  • Chips or crackers
  • Snacks (Little Debbie-type)
  • Canned items

If you have any questions, or would like to donate fresh food (fruit, lunch meat, bread etc…), please contact Director of Residence Life, A Getzin.

Thank you for supporting our students. Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
