Support Recruitment Events through Conferences

You may wonder, “how can I help increase visibility and enrollment for the university?” A great method is through your participation in conferences and fair visits.

While it’s wonderful when prospective students stop by one of our campuses, we also want to meet them in out in the world. When staff and faculty represent Saint Mary’s at a professional conference, site visit, or fair that’s an opportunity for recruitment. Many times there are chances to speak to prospective students in your field, but what do you do with that information? We ask that you work with the Office of Admission and your admission representative to have this event reflected on our admission event calendar. Show off Saint Mary’s presence in the community.

Our admission event calendar is a mobile-first platform for prospective students to find Saint Mary’s. Whether they choose to attend an on or off-campus event, it directs them to a simple digital sign up form to capture their contact information. We can provide you a direct link or QR code for prospect students to access the event sign up form, marking them as a part of the recruitment event. Prospective students are immediately entered into our Admission CRM for real-time access by counselors for follow up.

Eliminate paper forms, spreadsheets, or sign up lists and get the prospective students to the event page for a slick entry experience. Reduce delays in follow up based on travel or email exchanges. Connect the prospective student to admissions and have them counted, helping to measure the return on investment in conference travel, attendance, or sponsorship.

Next time you have an opportunity to represent Saint Mary’s at a professional conference, fair, or off-site event reach out as early as possible to the Office of Admissions for event next steps. At least three weeks notice is preferred.
