We wanted to take this opportunity to share one of the many success stories we have gathered from students who have benefited from earning and sharing their Saint Mary’s digital badges.
Since the start of 2021, Saint Mary’s has issued over 2,000 badges, tied to in-demand skills, to students in the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs.
This week we are spotlighting Marissa Allshouse, a current student in the Project Management M.S. program.
She explained the power of digital badges to make a student’s evolving skillset visible to colleagues and prospective employers. In her case, it was because she had shared her digital badges on LinkedIN that her co-workers at Capital One noticed she was taking Project Management courses through Saint Mary’s University. One even made her aware of a fellowship opportunity within her organization that her coursework at SMU was eligible for!
