I am happy to announce that Garrett Rotzien has been elected as the 2025-2026 Student Senate President. Having worked with Garrett this year on the senate, I am confident that he will do a great job representing and supporting all of our students as he leads the senate next year. Upon learning he was elected Garrett shared: “I just want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support I’ve received around campus. It was extraordinary seeing so many people rally around my cause. Looking forward, I’m excited for my next role in being the voice of the student body and the great things that we can accomplish!”

With just over six weeks to go in this academic year, I also want to thank Maggie Newhouse for all of her work as the current senate president. Maggie has set an outstanding example leading the senate, and advocating for students on our campus.
