Executive Board Reports

Elijah Williams, President
The high top table and coffee table for Toner 14 have arrived and have been installed. The space is almost complete and looks amazing! Please check it out if you haven’t yet.

Petitions for the 2022-2023 executive board positions will be coming early next week. Please keep an eye out for these.

Congratulations to the following senators and executive board members who were nominated for Outstanding Senior: Destiny Walker, Jonathan Krull, Angel Sacta Espinoza, and Jordan Keeley

As we approach budget season, please ensure that you are letting us know if you are unable to make it. It is absolutely crucial that you provide a proxy if this is the case as we must meet quorum in order to pass financial requests. If you are going to be gone or late, you must notify Sophia O’Neil as quickly as possible.

I met with the Dean of the College this morning, we set some dates for Faculty Appreciation week (April 25-27). There will be a truncated schedule for Founders’ Day next Tuesday—more information on this will come out in Saint Mary’s Today.

Hunger-Free Campus: The bill has been introduced and I will be testifying in support of it on Wednesday. We have been working to have all the MPCC schools put forth letters in support of it.

Student Voices: Please make sure to attend your meeting if you still have one to go to!

On March 16 at 7:00 p.m. there will be a panel titled Local Leadership in Divisive Times in the President’s Room in Toner. Student Senate is a sponsor of this event and we hope you can attend.

The MAPCS Spring Conference will be virtually on April 2 and you are all invited to attend. A link to register will be sent out in the coming weeks.

Capital Improvements: We are still awaiting for a few quotes, we will be bringing them forward as we get those! The water bottle fillers have arrived and should be going up shortly.

Saturday, March 12 – Snow Golfing hosted by RISE and Intramurals. Location TBD.

Benefit Dance
April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the SMU Gymnasium
All proceeds go towards assisting this year’s beneficiary, Curt Coshenet — Director of Dining Services.
