Student Senate Meeting Minutes

Maggie Newhouse called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Budget Request: Green Bandana (Requesting $720)
- The club is looking for QPR Books for the four mental health training sessions, stickers, Play-Doh, candy, games, green bandanas for training, and food.

- The team is looking for team gear to promote the club, poms, dance camp for the team to attend, choreographer, tickets, and fees for the bus for the Timberwolves game for next year to perform.
- The team does present fundraisers, such as tabling and bake sales.

- The club is looking for money to pay the instructors who teach the yoga classes to students throughout the year.
- $42 per session, the instructor is paid for the hour taught.
- Yoga Slow Flow and Yoga Sculpt that is offered for students on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Sophomores
- Will be selling drinks, chips, and hotdogs at the baseball game on April 5th. Come support! Cash only.

- Nothing to report.
Seniors
- Gaslight auditions are this week and tonight until 9 pm!
- Activities are planned for Senior Day! We look forward to a fun day with everyone from the graduating class.
- Planning the Senior Luncheon for the seniors after the practice graduation ceremony.
Senator Concerns:
- Amanda: Could there be a one-stop shop where on-campus jobs can be posted?
- Priyanka: Gilmore Hall food is getting stolen from the fridge.
- Joey: Yon’s road capital improvement could be funded by the high school because of their use of the road.
