Student Senate Meeting Minutes

President Garrett Rotzien called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Special Request: Culture of Life
- The club is looking for money to go to Washington D.C. to go on the march for pro-life. They are in need of money for flights, hotel rooms, and summit tickets. The club has already fundraised money through parishes in their hometowns, Winona, and at Pizza Ranch.
Motion to fund at the suggested amount of $1,947 was made by: Angel Garcia

- Meeting with Father Burns next Thursday
- I have asked the hall reps to help us get a count on washing machines broken in each dorm.
- Working with Golf Club to draw up a waiver people sign after they learn to use the simulator.
- Will be using the scheduling function of google calendar (booking pages) for sign ups.

Javier Rodriguez, Vice President of Campus Affairs
- Some of the cameras should be put in on campus soon, as the new server was put in to install these.
- There will be a meeting to go through some of the washers that have been having problems on campus.
- I got in contact with Jake Leeps to finish the discussion about the stairmasters.

- I will be posting some flyers in the bulletin board with golf simulator updates, capital improvement updates, and a graphic for the day at the capitol.
- JJ and I are going to be working together to create an infographic that will be sent out to all Saint Mary’s students about the work senate is doing on campus to keep everyone informed. I will be reaching out to the PR committee in the next few days about this project as well!
