The road to a three-peat is officially on.
The No. 8 ranked Cardinals punched their ticket straight into the MIAC semifinals after earning a first-round bye and wrapping up a dominant regular season with a 35-5 overall record and a 20-2 mark in conference play.
Top-seeded Saint Benedict Bennies secured hosting duties after capturing the program’s MIAC regular-season title and first outright conference crown with a 21-1 league record. Both the Bennies and second-seeded Saint Mary’s earned semifinal byes as the conference’s top two teams.
The action gets underway Saturday, May 9, in St. Joseph at CSB Softball Field. Saint Benedict will open semifinal play at 11 a.m. against the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 matchup from Thursday, while Saint Mary’s will take the field at 1:30 p.m. against the winner of the No. 3 vs. No. 6 contest.
With a championship appearance on the line, the winners will battle it out at 4 p.m. for the 2026 MIAC Softball Playoff title and the conference’s automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
The Cardinals are ready for the challenge.

All tickets must be purchased online through HomeTown Ticketing. There will be no cash sales at the venue. Spectators may purchase tickets on their mobile devices, including upon arrival.

Streaming
The 2026 MIAC Softball Playoffs will be streamed live on the MIAC Sports Network in a pay-per-view format. Fans who are unable to attend the tournament may purchase a $12 “championship pass” to stream the entire MIAC Baseball Playoffs live. On-demand access to playoff games will be available after the NCAA Tournament concludes.
