Snow removal procedure reminder

The Office of Campus Safety and the Maintenance Department would like to give the Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Winona Campus community a reminder of snow removal procedures in light of the predicted snow storm coming Friday night into Saturday morning.

 

Please make sure your contact information is up to date so that if/when a snow emergency is declared you are informed. This can be done through the student portal. In the student portal, this information can be updated anytime by logging in and choosing the “Profile” -> “Edit Profile”  menu item. For your information to be placed into Blackboard Connect, our emergency alert system, from the Student Portal, you must enter your personal information into the HOME address.

 

Snow removal will begin in the Faculty/Staff lots early Saturday morning. Any vehicles in the Purple (Faculty/Staff) lots early Saturday morning will be towed at the owner’s expense to facilitate snow removal.

We anticipate that we will need to declare a snow emergency on Saturday morning and will need to have the student lots empty by 5 pm Saturday evening for the snow removal.
