SMUMN Faculty Member Wins Top Paper Award

Dr. Lori Charron (pictured second from left), along with her co-authors, was awarded the Top Paper Award for the 2022 Communication Ethics Division of the National Communication Association (NCA). The award-winning paper, titled “Ethical Credo for Teams: A Case Study of a Long-term Virtual Team,” was based on research regarding ethics and virtual small group collaboration. In addition to winning this award, Dr. Charron also presented on a competitively selected panel entitled “Teaching Communication Ethics in Practice: Engaging in Ethical Practices in Business, Relationships, Online, and in the Community.”
