The Saint Mary’s fastpitch softball team will host the MIAC Softball Playoffs two semifinal games, as well as the championship game, on Saturday, May 11 at the Saint Mary’s Field.
The top-seeded Cardinals will take on the winner of Thursday’s No. 4 vs. No. 5 game at 11 a.m., while No. 2 Saint Benedict will take on the winner of Thursday’s No. 3 vs. No. 6 game at 1:30 p.m. The two victors will then square off at 4 p.m. in the 2024 MIAC Softball Playoff championship game. The winner will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
Tickets for the MIAC Playoffs are $10 for adults and $2 for students with ID. Children ages five and under will be admitted free of charge. Saint Mary’s will cover the cost for all SMU students only.
The MIAC has a homepage dedicated to the 2024 MIAC Softball Playoffs that will be updated throughout the tournament with scores and statistics. Fans can also follow the action on the MIAC Scoreboard, MIAC Sports Network, MIAC mobile app, and on social media through the MIAC’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
