Cancel your weekend plans—this Saturday, May 10th, Saint Mary’s University will once again host the MIAC Softball Championships, marking the second consecutive year as the venue. The honor comes after the Cardinal softball team secured the No. 1 overall seed by finishing a flawless 22-0 conference season.
Saturday’s schedule includes three games, with the Cardinals kicking off the MIAC Semifinals at 11:00 a.m. They’ll face the winner of one of two quarterfinal matchups set for Thursday, May 8. In those games, No. 3 St. Olaf (14-8) will host No. 6 St. Catherine (10-12) in Northfield, while No. 4 Macalester (13-9) takes on No. 5 Bethel (12-10) in St. Paul. Saint Benedict will play at 1:30 p.m. as they are the second team in the conference with a bye.
The MIAC Championship game is set for 4:00 p.m., serving as the final matchup of the day. The tournament winner will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

ADMISSION
All tickets will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing. There will not be cash sales at any venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device, including while at the venue.
SMU will cover the cost for any Cardinal students wanting to attend, must show valid student-ID
General Admission: $12 (plus HTT service charge)
Students with ID: $3 (plus HTT service charge)
Children 5 and Under: Free
* MIAC passes accepted
CONCESSIONS
Saint Mary’s will provide a concession stand located in the red gazebo between the baseball and softball fields. Guests can purchase hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, candy, and a variety of beverages. Both cash and credit cards are accepted.
