Science students present research at Symposium

Six Saint Mary’s University of MN students presented their research projects at the Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium held November 15, 2024 at Viterbo University.

Francis Perroud received top Natural Science honors for his oral presentation on “Effects of Atrazine on MSTN Protein Expression in Mus musculus Gastrocnemius Muscle”

Other students presenting were Nathan Meyer (Biology), Sophia Duran (Biology), Mitchell Jared (Environmental and Conservation Biology), Ellie Groth (Biology), Leah Lebrun (Environmental and Conservation Biology) and Kristyn Larson (Biochemistry).   Also attending the symposium were Claire Chmielewski, Megan Frosch, Shania Vanlewin, Alison Wu, Natalie Picard and Drs. Alison Bates, Debra Martin, Benjamin Pauli and Claudia Preston.
