On Friday, May 12, the School of Education team completed another Adopt-a-Highway cleanup. Mother Nature cooperated with sprinkles at the start, raindrops at the end, and a dry period in-between as we worked. The School of Education 2-mile stretch is along Hwy 61 just below the Saint Mary’s Winona campus heading east toward Huff Street. Our team included Katie Hubbard, Cindy Kronebusch, Suzanne Seehusen, Christopher Bethke, and Betty Kube.
Adopt-a-Highway is a great opportunity to give back to our community while keeping our majestic area clean. Another cleanup date will be arranged sometime in Fall 2023. All are welcome to participate in this effort.
