The Saint Mary’s Benefit Dance will take place on April 2nd, 2022 at 7pm in the Saint Mary’s Gymnasium! The benefit committee is so excited to host another dance, featuring the Johnny Holm Band, for a night of dancing and great music!

All proceeds will go towards assisting this year’s beneficiary, Curt Coshenet. Curt is the Director of Dining Services at Saint Mary’s and recently had a double lung transplant after being diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Curt has always been so generous to Saint Mary’s students and the rest of the community, and now it’s time for us to return the favor!

Make sure to grab your semi-formal clothes, your dancing shoes, and get ready for lots of fun! See you there!

The Saint Mary’s Benefit, although continuing the tradition with a new name, will forever honor the event’s first recipient, Taylor Richmond, son of long-time Saint Mary’s employee, Niki Richmond. Taylor was born with the degenerative genetic disease ataxia telangiectasia, and students planned the first fundraiser in 2001 to fulfill his dreams of visiting Disney World. A meaningful tradition to the Saint Mary’s community, the dance has been held annually, only paused in 2021 because of the pandemic.
