Saint Mary’s Junior Wins Scholarship

Saint Mary’s Junior Sadie Chrusciel was awarded the highest scholarship honor from the Public Relations Society of America Minnesota Chapter . Chrusciel won the first place scholarship, $2,000, in the Dr. Willard Thompson Scholarship Award competition. A panel of Accredited Public Relations (APR) professionals judged the student entries, which consisted of a work sample and an essay about the importance of public relations in today’s society. The award recipients were announced at the Minnesota PRSA Classics Award Ceremony on Thursday, April 22 at CHS Field’s Securian Financial Club in St. Paul. Chrusciel is a double major in Public Relations and Digital Media and Sport Management. She is also on the varsity women’s soccer team.
