Join us at the Winona Farmers Market on Saturday, Oct. 9, for Saint Mary’s Day at the Farmers Market. The market takes place at Levee Park (corner of 2nd and Main Street, next to the Winona 7 Theater) from 8 a.m. to noon. Come shop from an assortment of homegrown fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, herbal medicine, eggs, honey, syrups, dairy products, baked goods, meats, flowers, and plants that are locally sourced. Following the closing of the market, there will be a festival at Levee Park that features live music, dancing, food, and various activities from 2 to 10 p.m. This year’s Student Senate aims to increase our involvement with the Winona community and this is our first event to do so.
