Minneapolis, MN – Notre Dame Professor John Duffy will present Bridging the Divide for the annual Hesburgh Lecture, 3 p.m., Saturday, 11/11/23 at The Basilica of Saint Mary, Teresa of Calcutta Hall (Lower Level), 88 N. 17th St., Minneapolis, MN 55403.
The Basilica of Saint Mary and Saint Mary’s University School of Education Character and Virtue Education will co-sponsor the lecture.
Before the 2020 election, one thing many sadly agreed on was our nation was likely to remain deeply divided, regardless of the outcome. Repairing or bridging the deep political and social divisions within our society will require leadership consensus building, and trust. Duffy will discuss how people can find common ground in our current society.
