Saint Mary’s students now have an exciting opportunity to study in one of the world’s most historic cities. The Catholic Studies in Rome program allows students to spend the fall semester studying at the prestigious Pontifical Gregorian University while living at the historic Pontifical Irish College just steps from the Colosseum.

Imagine walking past the Roman Forum on your way to class and returning each evening to a global community gathered around the table at the Irish College. The program combines academics with cultural immersion through courses in Catholic art, theology, philosophy, and literature, along with included excursions to Assisi, Florence, Orvieto, and Ostia Antica.

Students interested in learning more are invited to attend an information session on Friday, March 13 at 12:15 p.m. in Toner 9. A student who participated in the program last fall will be available to share firsthand insights and answer questions about the experience.
