The Office of Recreation, Involvement, and Student Engagement wants to spotlight our student leaders: Olivia Meyer (Biology Pre-Medicine major, chemistry and Spanish minors ’22) and Israela Noah (Biology major, psychology minor ’22) for their excellence, leadership, and service on campus in the Future Health Professionals Club.
Olivia and Israela and Future Health Professionals have coordinated a blood drive sponsored with the American Red Cross on Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Hall of Fame room. Please help us fill-up all of our appointment slots! They noted that “as of right now, we only have 50% of the appointment slots filled up. And we would love to get to 100% with a waiting list!! (Wishful thinking of course!!)” If you go to make an appointment, and there are no donation slots open, please email Olivia Meyer at oameye17@smumn.edu or Israela Noah at ixnoah18@smumn.edu to be put on a waiting list if there are any cancellations. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact either of the two individuals named above and they can get you involved! There are still volunteering slots open for refreshment serving and checking donors in. Future Health Professionals is a club on campus that focuses on connecting individuals at Saint Mary’s to resources that will help them succeed in their journey to a career in healthcare. We provide students with volunteering opportunities, shadowing opportunities, and other general resources to help them on their adventure!
