Fire drills will be conducted in residence halls October 20-21, 2026. Each hall will be emailed with their specific date and time of the drill by their residence hall director. It is mandated that this data be reported so your cooperation is appreciated.
Residents will be required to exit the building during the drill by following the safety instructions located on the placard on the back of their doors. If the placard is missing, please email the Office of Residence Life to request a new one.
Residence hall staff will be checking to make sure everyone exits the hall safely. If a resident will be gone during the fire drill, please let the HD or RA know ahead of time or a fine may be incurred. Upon re-entering the building, please check in with the RA or HD.
