Creating Relationship-Rich Environments via Asynchronous Learning
February 22, 2022
6.30-7.30 pm CT via Zoom

Join Tracy Lysne, Program Director of M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning, Sarah Haugen, Associate Program Director of M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning, (and special guest, Nancy Van Erp!) for an interactive workshop on strategies for creating and maintaining a relationship-rich environment within asynchronous learning environments.

Asynchronous learning is learning that does not occur in the same place at the same time. In this session, we will explore the contrast of relationship-rich online learning vs. relationship-absent online learning and how this impacts teaching and learning.  We will introduce a simple structure you might use to design relationship-rich learning in your online modules grounded in how humans learn. The structure uses and embodies our core mission of awaken, nurture, and empower as a guiding framework. Our hope is that you will leave feeling connected, inspired, and equipped with ideas you might implement tomorrow!  Come join us, together and by association, learning with, for, and from one another.
