Rooted in the professional principles, values, and practices of the National Association for Academic Advising (NACADA), this seminar will examine the holistic nature of advising. Attendees will be introduced to the fundamentals of advising, including resources for advising appointments, communication skills with students, and campus policies that influence advising at Saint Mary’s. This seminar is great for a new adviser, or any adviser looking to grow. Lunch will be provided to all in person attendees.
