Promote Career Services Workshops to your students

Career Services is holding a variety of workshops to help get students career-ready. Whether they are graduating, looking for an internship or part-time job, or planning to attend the career fair students need to have key pieces in place to sell their knowledge, skills, and experience.

Please strongly encourage students to attend these events.

To receive Zoom links and to manage space due to social distance guidelines at in-person events, students need to RSVP to attend via their Handshake account.

TODAY, Monday, January 31 at 4 p.m. Minnesota Private Colleges Job & Internship Fair INFO SESSION

Students will learn what to do before, during, and after the Job & Internship Fair being held in late February. The session is being simulcast in person in Toner Lounge & via Zoom.

High Impact Resumes

WINONA Campus – TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 1 at 4 p.m.

VIRTUAL – Wednesday, February 2 at 7 p.m.

Students will learn how to market themselves and their skills by developing a great branding statement and a resume they can love. Participants will go through section by section of a resume and receive strategies and resources to develop winning resumes and branding statements. Learn about ATS in job applications and how to align the resume with the job posting. Students should bring their resumes.
