The McLaughlin Social Justice Institute launches next summer at Christian Brothers University in Memphis. Spend two weeks immersed in Catholic Social Teaching and Lasallian Core Principles in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. Saint Mary’s has recently approved this experience as valid for Cultural Engagement. To sign up for their CE experiences, students should register for CE101 or CE102 through the normal registration process during the normal registration period (or in this case the spring before they attend–and the deadline to submit a reflection will be the incomplete deadline in the fall–or the fall semester after they return). After they complete the experience, students will be prompted to submit a reflection to the CE module in the Canvas Integratus Learning Portfolio course. This is the means by which students meet their CE requirement.
