Prayers are requested and invited for the repose of the soul of Derek T. Murphy who passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, at the age of 23, after a lifelong battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Derek is the nephew of Brother Jack Curran, FSC, PhD, currently serving at Bethlehem University in Palestine, and a member of the Saint Mary’s University Board of Trustees. Brother Jack is grateful for the prayers and support of the Saint Mary’s community for Derek’s eternal rest and the consolidation of his family and all who mourn Derek’s passing.
