As part of our continuing efforts to promote wellness on campus and to offer students more options to complete their Wellness requirements in Integratus, one section of PD114 (Mental Health and Society) has been added to the course offerings for this spring. The course, which will carry 1 credit and be offered for a grade, will be taught by Connie Mettille, certified MHFA instructor. The course will run from March 14-April 6; it will consist of 4 in-person, 2-hour meetings and 8 additional asynchronous hours of online work. See the course offerings in the portal for more details.
Mettille is also offering a 2-day Mental Health First Aid workshop on campus in February; the workshop carries 0 credits, but it will also meet one Wellness requirement for students. For more info on this, check with the RISE office.
