Members of the Saint Mary’s University community are invited to hear the story of Omid Momand, an Afghan refugee rehomed in Winona, on Tuesday, April 12.
The event is hosted by an Integratus Capstone class with the support of the Winona Afghan Support Network and the Office of Inclusion and Human Dignity.
Momand will begin speaking at 6:30 p.m. in Room 200 in Aquinas Hall. The event is open to the general public.
