The Master of Social Work Program was awarded the Sauer Family Foundation Grant to provide eligible students a one-time $2,500 stipend to use towards their field practicum education expenses for Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 semesters. This stipend is to assist Minnesota BIPOC students who are in a practicum working with vulnerable children and families to align with the Sauer Family Foundation mission which is to strengthen the wellbeing of children, so they thrive in their communities and families. The MSW program has awarded three students this stipend for Fall 2023. We are pleased to announce that Megan Martinez, Francis Mboma, and Keyanna Przybilla-Tucker are the Fall 2023 recipients of this stipend. Congratulations to these students!
