You can now vote early in-person with an absentee ballot in Minnesota! You can find where you need to go to cast your ballot early here.
Here’s what you need to know:
- In-person early voting in Minnesota begins on Friday, September 20 and ends on Monday, November 4.
- Early voting polling hours vary. You can find a list of hours and locations here. Click your county name to see the early voting locations near you.
- You do not need to bring an ID if your voter registration is current and active. That means you were successfully registered at least 21 days before Election Day and you have not moved or changed names since then. If you need to register or update your registration, or you have not voted in four years or more, you must show proof of residence before you vote.
- Candidates for President, Senate, House of Representatives, and other local offices are on your ballot this election cycle.
If you have any questions or concerns while trying to cast your ballot, call or text the Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE.
Not yet registered to vote? Not a problem! Minnesota has same-day voter registration during early voting and at the polls on Election Day (Tuesday, November 5).
