Exciting news, fans! Both the Saint Mary’s women’s basketball and women’s hockey teams are advancing to the quarterfinals of the MIAC postseason tournament this week! It’s a thrilling time for both teams, and they need YOUR support as they’ve proven themselves to be among the top teams in the conference. Let’s show up and help make some magic happen!

First up is the women’s basketball team tomorrow, February 25th, as they face off against Hamline University in the cities for a late tip-off scheduled for 8:00 p.m.! The Cardinals earned the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will take on the No. 3 seed in the first round of the postseason.

This marks the first time the Cardinals have made it to the postseason since the 2021-2022 season, and they’ve made an incredible jump—from a winless conference season last year to boasting an impressive 11-win conference season this year!

On Wednesday, February 26th, the women’s hockey team will kick off their playoff run as the No. 4 seed, hosting No. 5 St. Olaf for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop! This is a huge game for the Cardinals and will be their final home game of the season. We need all Cardinals fans to show up, wear white for WHITE OUT, and come early to grab a rally towel! Let’s pack the rink and bring the energy!
